Missionaries with: Eight Days of Hope/Hope Reigns

We are excited to share the many changes happening within Eight Days of Hope. One big change for us is a name change, we will no longer use Hope Reigns we will be called the Rapid Response Division of Eight Days of Hope. This is because God has opened many doors for ministry through Eight Days. Some of these will be rapid response, rebuilding, local & regional community service, national projects with various community ministries. The partnership with Global Outreach has already allowed our leadership and some volunteers to help with building new offices for Global at no charge so they can better minister to missionaries. We now have our office in the Global building. We gutted and rebuilt a house in Tupelo for Parkgate Crisis Pregnancy Center.
A tornado hit in the Hattiesburg, MS area so the Rapid Response team left January26. We were there twenty-six days, we had almost 400 volunteers from 23 states serve with us on 128 homes and help with more tree work than we could count. It has taken quite a while to get all the equipment and chainsaws serviced, cleaned and ready to go again.
The Eight Days of Hope Rebuilding division will be going to Lafayette, LA June 4-11 to rebuild homes damaged by the fall flooding. We would love for you to serve with us you can volunteer online at eightdaysofhope.com. Go to our website or Face book page for more information.
We attended the MS MSC Missionary meeting in Jackson this month it was good to meet MS missionaries and hear about their ministries.
We will be going on a mission trip in May to Uganda, Africa. We will be building two brick kitchens for two separate schools, a classroom and chapel building, minister in the schools, lead a VBS, preach in local churches and encourage the pastors, host an eye exam clinic and give out eyeglasses. There will also be another team going in July to continue the school building and a new orphanage home. If you are interested in going in July or possibly with a fall team contact us for more information.
We are collecting some teacher & student school supplies, summer clothes for children, flip flops, any old eyeglasses and reading glasses, books for all ages, dictionaries. Of course, money is always needed for supplies and to finish construction on the buildings. If you are interested in sending any of these items call Dana for more details.
All donations for our personal ministry should now be sent through Global Outreach and will be fully tax deductible. They take all taxes out for us, and give tax receipts at the end of the year. We are still considered self supported meaning we raise all of our support. Global has a team of people who are valuable resources for us. You can have a monthly draft setup through your bank account, a one time ACH payment, pay online thru your Pay Pal account, or mail a check to Global. You will need to make it payable to Global Outreach with our ID# of 4892 and not our name.

We still save ink jets to recycle for our ministry. Let us know if you collect any and we will make arrangements to pick them up.

We would love to speak at your church about the work God is allowing us to be a part of.

Please pray for safety in work and travel, and for us to have Gods words of comfort for all we meet.
