A note from Pastor Jackson:
First, I want to remind us all not to allow fear to overtake us. One of my wife’s favorite verse in the Bible is: I Timothy 1:7 which says “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” While we should definitely be concerned about sickness, we also don’t want to give in to mass panic.
On another note, there is no greater time to do the following:
1. Pray for those affected this illness. Pray that the spread will diminish and decrease. Pray for healing and restoration.
2. Pray for awareness. Not just for safety and health reasons. But for inner and spiritual awareness that we are feeble men and women needing our savior- Jesus Christ who is the author, perfector and sustainer of our faith.
3. Pray for our government. From our President Donald Trump, his cabinet, our state and local government as they make hard decisions that effects us all.
4. Pray for Christian Missionaries on the forefront of this illness. Pray for safety and wisdom.
5. Pray for our health care workers who sacrifice and risk their lives everyday with very high risk exposure to this illness.
Blessings, Pastor Jackson

Hi FFS church!
In the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Global Pandemic, I wanted to share some information regarding church service tomorrow and words of wisdom from scripture.
Remember God is in control! At the same time, we would be unwise to not take precautions. At this point, we are not canceling church service, however, we will be cancelling Sunday school. One of the benefits of our church right now is that we have less than 250 members or people attending. What a blessing!
On that note, we will be taking precautions. First and foremost, make the best decision for you and your family. If you or your family members are in the immediate risk group, use wisdom in deciding if you will attend church. Second, for those who will be attending church service, I am asking that you bring hand sanitizers. Thirdly, if there is anyone in your home that shows signs of sickness such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath or nasal congestion to please stay home! Also, if you have a health history that makes you immune suppress, please stay home. Just as a precautionary measure, even if it is the sniffles, just stay home for a week and take a rest. More than likely even with the sniffles, you and your family needs rest :).
Shalom (Peace),
Pastor Jackson
