If you have a prayer request, you may submit your name and prayer request via this site (be only as specific as you want). Your particular need may be spiritual, health related, financial or for a family member or friend. We have a Prayer Chain, comprised of a group of Prayer Warriors, who pray individually as they are called, then call the next Prayer Warrior on the list and so on until the chain is complete. In a short time frame, you or your loved one has had a number of prayers said on your behalf. We would also appreciate your letting us know when our prayers have been answered. Praise prayers are an important part of our daily prayers.

This website sends all submitted prayer requests directly to the prayer chain coordinator.

Click on “Read Full Article” for the request submission form.

Connect Student Ministry

Well, our summer has started off strong. We just got back from our Mission Trip this year. On it there were many opportunities for our students to use the gifts and abilities God has given them. They served by putting on a day camp for the kids in the community. And when they finished that helped out with several other service projects and community outreach opportunities. There was another student ministry from Kentucky serving alongside us. This was neat because it provided an opportunity to connect with other believers their age. The other group also did a great job of setting an example of how important it is to slow down and take the time to encourage each other. I know that these times of encouragement were a blessing to me and several of the students.

Three days after getting home we jumped right into our next thing. We had a long day of VBS training for the students. They learned the basics of what will be taught each day at VBS. We also spent time focusing on how to present the gospel message in an accurate and clear way. This is something we will be continuing on throughout the summer. We want the students to be well prepared to share this message with anyone at any time. For those of you who are faithfully praying for us please keep VBS and camp in your prayers. These are two things our students will be heavily involved in and wonderful opportunities to see God work through them in a mighty ways.

Connect Student Ministry

Well, here we are approaching the busiest time of year here in the student ministry. We have just wrapped up a study on the topic of God’s Word. We looked into how God’s Word is not just an old book we ask them to read but how it is God’s personal revelation to us about how we can have a relationship with Him and live according to His good and perfect will for our lives. My hope is that within His good and perfect will is where the students are striving to be this summer. This summer is going to provide lots of opportunities for our students to serve, and to grow in their relationships with God and other believers. Several of them will be serving on our mission team and at VBS this year. Also, because God is so good, He has provided (through His church) above and beyond the finances needed for all of the students who signed up to go to camp this year. My prayer is that when they go back to school next year people cannot help but notice what God has done in their life.

As we are approaching another graduation season, it has made me stop and reflect on some of the great qualities I have seen here in this group of students. They are very genuine, they don’t mind asking questions about things they don’t understand, and they are willing to serve when asked. These are only a few of the qualities I hope are passed down to our younger students and will continue on through the years. On June 3rd, we will be having an opportunity to celebrate the legacy one of these students has had on our student ministry. We will be recognizing their achievement during our Sunday service and, following the service, we will have a short reception in their honor. We would love for you to come.
